I had recently made that change of setting it from "enable" to "disable" and just set it back to "enable" and I can confirm that changing this allowed xrdp to work correctly and let me click again. I just tried the screen blanking change to see if it fixed it for me and it looks like it did. Sometimes you really need something like RealVNC because you're trying to operate on the primary desktop, but a lot of times it's just as good, or possibly even better, to have a clean session which doesn't affect the console desktop session. ![]() The other advantage is that it creates a new session rather than mirroring the existing desktop. RealVNC is slow compared to other methods and xrdp has the advantage of being faster and more lightweight. ![]() I can share why I like xrdp over VNC though. I just came across this thread because I'm having the same issue. Honest question here: What don't you like about VNC? What about xrdp is better? I don't use xrdp, but thought it was just basically another remote desktop/viewer utility.
